“24K Magic” beats songs by Kendrick, JAY-Z, Childish Gambino, and more

Bruno Mars has won Record of the Year at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards. His song “24K Magic” beat out Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, and Justin Bieber’s “Despacito,” as well as songs by Kendrick Lamar (“HUMBLE.”), JAY-Z (“The Story of O.J,), and Childish Gambino (“Redbone”). It’s Mars’ second Record of the Year victory, following “Uptown Funk” (with Mark Ronson) in 2016. Bruno Mars was nominated for five other Grammy awards this year: Album of the Year (for 24K Magic), Song of the Year, Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, and Best R&B Album. He won the latter four awards.
