New Delhi: Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime smartphone was launched in India at Rs. 12,990, and will be available for purchase on January 20 exclusive only Amazon India and Samsung shop. The smartphone features a full-metal unibody design with 13-megapixel front and rear cameras and an octa-core processor. The new Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime is being marketed as the device which will ‘redefine the shopping experience of consumers.’
The handset comes with the Samsung Mall app which allows consumers to perform a visual search by simply clicking the image and searching the product through multiple shopping websites. The new Samsung Mall app also includes the Shopping and Universal Cart feature. Going by the dedicated Samsung page, the smartphone also features Samsung Pay Mini feature which lets consumers conduct transactions through UPI (Unified payments interface) and mobile wallets.
Talking about specifications, the new Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime will come with a 5.5-inch full-HD display. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor and will come in 3GB and 4GB RAM options. There’s 32GB/ 64GB onboard storage. It sports a 13-megapixel camera at the front and back with f/1.9 aperture lens and LED flash. Samsung also touts the camera to come with low-light enhancements. The Galaxy On7 Prime supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 256GB).
Amazon is offering 20 per cent refund when customers pay through Amazon Pay balance. HDFC Bank debit and credit card holders can avail 10 per cent cashback; and additionally, there is a Rs. 2,000 Jio Money cashback offer on the device.
Following Samsung’s signature design, the new Galaxy On7 Prime sports a physical home button at the front and a metal unibody design. The Amazon India listing confirms that the smartphone will be available in India in Gold and Black colours at Rs. 12,990.
